Microsoft Visual Studios Challenge Cup
Having been called on to co-write a pitch for woot!media in response to a request by Microsoft Visual Studios in 2009 the campaign that followed involved hosting an online gaming tournament and video graphics competition.
KODE 5 UK Qualifier
In 2007 following successful negotiation for the rights IG hosted the UK qualifier for international videogame tournament Kode 5 (www.kode5.com). The event was attended by 160 people who were all competing for a place at the Global KODE 5 Finals to be held in Russia. This event was managed from conception through to completion of the tournament.
Intel Core 2 Extreme Challenge
The first pitch in partnership with w00t!media secured a campaign for Intel in 2007. This evolved into management of a campaign that was aimed at hardcore gamers in the UK. It consisted of 3 online tournaments for 3 different videogame titles, live streaming audio and video of the matches and additional activities to compliment the main tournaments.
Infinity-Gaming 5
Utilising the events brand IG the fifth instalment of the series took place at Omega Sektor in Birmingham and once again saw over 160 gamers descend on the venue for gaming action during the weekend.
Byron Review and UKCCIS
Following the announcement of Tanya Byron’s Review and contribution to several focus groups continued involvement has been as a member of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety Videogame Working Group.
